A few more pics of the original ugly duckling...

The beginning....

Ok, so the idea is that this little project will teach me some patients (take things slowly and don't rush) as well as satisfy a craving I have to rebuild something....I also happen to love the look of the Honda Bobbers, particularly those onces being cut down in Japan.

For the moment the bike has sat in my garage and I have simply sat on the floor and thought about it with a beer in hand, comparing pictures from the web of my favourite bikes to the ugly little machine in front of me. Finally, time to get started.

A dedicated space has been cleared in my workshop with bench space to lay out the pieces and empty boxes ready to contain the multiple loose nuts, bolts and brackets that will inevitably be pulled off my retro 80's 2 wheeler.

For this post I have just taken a few general pics of the overall bike, but the plan is to also take closer and more detailed pics and videos of the bike as I pull it apart. Not being a mechanic I will need all the help I can get to put this baby back together all be it minus all the rubish that isn't needed.
